Who I AM
I am a burnout, stress, and trauma recovery coach. I support people in tech who work at high-stress environments to manage stress, overcome burnout, regain motivation, and navigate feelings of discrimination, isolation, and detachment from work.
I am a deep thinker who feels fascinated by psychology, and is a firm believer in personal growth. I owe my analytical, and problem solving skills to my tech background. As a coach, however, I take advantage of logic, intuition, creativity, and deep compassion to help you solve a problem.
Why Me?
In short, I have a unique perspective that helps me create a bridge between the worlds of tech and psychology.
With more than two decades of working in the tech industry, quite frankly, I have gone through a lot of sweet and bitter experiences in my professional life including burnout, living in survival mode to meet unrealistic deadlines, freezing at job interviews that I cared a lot about the outcome, almost getting fired due to discrimination regardless of my high performance, ... You name it, I've seen it!
Also, being a high achiever I have a deep understanding of how a tech professional's sense of identity can be attached to their job, and what happens if this sense of identity is threatened, or undernourished due to work or life circumstances.
At first glance, software engineering, and trauma recovery coaching seem very irrelevant. This dichotomy was also on my mind until I realized how my lived experiences as both a software engineer, and trauma survivor allow me to understand both worlds on a deeply visceral level. Yet, these two worlds can overlap for some. A traumatized person who has a high propensity for anxiety - for example - can easily be pushed into survival mode in a fast paced workplace with poor work-life balance. Likewise, a perfectionist who already places high demand on herself as a consequence of childhood trauma, can fall into burnout when placed in an environment with even greater, and sometimes unrealistic expectations.
Unlocking My True Potential
When I first decided to get help with moving on after a painful breakup, my plan was simple: get some advice from a therapist, and be done. But life had other plans. By pure luck, I ended up working with a skilled trauma therapist - someone who saw what I couldn’t yet see. To my surprise, She diagnosed me with Complex PTSD, which meant I hadn’t just experienced trauma; I was still living with its aftereffects, in my body, emotions, and behaviors. She told me: “Wait and see how addressing your trauma will unlock your real capacity in all areas of your life.” It sounded cliché, so I smiled politely, but honestly, I didn’t believe her.
Fast forward to today, after years of inner healing, I can see what she meant. I’ve noticed profound changes in how I handle conflict, stay calm, express my thoughts, speak up, and treat myself with compassion. That critical inner voice that used to hold me back? It’s much quieter now. Sometimes, it’s not there at all. But what surprised me most were the unexpected shifts:
-
My analytical thinking sharpened.
-
My leadership skills grew stronger.
-
I became more curious, more creative, and could think much clearly.
None of this happened because I was trying to improve those skills. It happened naturally as I healed. The truth is, trauma, especially developmental or childhood trauma, can quietly limit our capacity in ways we don’t even realize. It shapes how we relate to others, regulate emotions, think, create, and show up in the world.
I started my journey as a coach to encourage and guide people to see what I wasn't able to see back then.To heal what’s been overshadowing their potential; The patterns, pain, and self-doubt that quietly hold them back. Because when we heal we don’t just feel better. We unlock who we’re meant to be, in both our personal and professional lives.
How It Looks Like to Work With Me?
A trauma recovery coach is a fellow traveller - a puzzle master who helps you fit the pieces together so you can find your way from point A to point B. She is also the voice of experience which gives her a unique angle on issues; not only has she faced challenging life circumstances firsthand, but she has also felt their impact on a visceral level
As a trauma recovery coach, I am committed to creating a safe space where you feel heard, seen, and supported. I honor your voice and offer you choice throughout our work together, ensuring that your agency is always respected. Rather than pathologizing you or your experiences, I approach them with compassion, curiosity and without judgment.
I aim towards addressing issues both in depth, and at the surface level to achieve more sustainable results. Brainspotting is one of my therapeutic tools. I also use CBT, and somatic exercises as tools for supporting you through your day to day mental struggles while in-depth healing is taking place, and when you are ready to continue your journey on your own.
My Credentials
I have received my credentials from International Association of Trauma Recovery Coaching (IAOTRC) for Trauma Recovery Coaching, Transformation Academy for Cognitive Behavioral Coaching, and Brainspotting Trainings LLC for Brainspotting.
